The Oak provenance contains passport data and phenotypic assessments of Quercus petraea and Quercus robur provenances and provenance tests established in Europe. Passport data comprise geographic data of the source stands of provenances and of the provenance tests. Phenotypic assessments correspond to measurements of various traits made on an individual tree basis. Additional information on seed collections in the source stands and on the plantation protocol and experimental design of provenance tests are also available.

The main objective is to view information of provenances and provenance tests, provide access to raw data of assessments, and also to localize data on a Google map interface.

Provenances and tests

This section contains the passport data of the provenances (mainly geographic data of their origin, where the seed lots were collected).

Number of provenances : 419

This section contains data on the seed lots, and on the seed collected. In several cases collections of seeds were made in different years at the same spot (provenance in this case is the same), yet the seed lots were different. Traceability of seed lots is maintained in the provenance tests.

Number of seed lots : 464

This section contains the passport data of the provenance tests, mainly geographic data of their origin, where the seed lots were collected, but also information about the experimental design used.

Number of provenance tests : 60

This section contains a table that shows in what provenance tests a provenance is installed.

Phenotypic data

This part enables access to all phenotypic traits.

Number of traits : 1874

This part enables access to all measures for phenotypic traits and provenance tests.

Number of measures : 1,883,677

Climatic data

This part enables access to all climatic variables.

Number of variables : 99

This part enables access to all climatic data for different variables and provenance tests.
